New York City-based running brand Bandit Running is releasing its first-ever sneaker project this week, with the introduction of its collaborative Asics Novablast 5 shown here.
Bandit confirmed on Instagram that its Asics sneaker collab will release starting on Thursday, April 3, exclusively for those in its membership program, and remaining pairs will launch on Friday, April 4.
For this project, Bandit references Japanese American artist Isamu Noguchi’s signature style with a combination of opaque elements on the upper. The sneaker also pays tribute to Bandit’s NYC origins with a speckled midsole inspired by the city’s concrete streets.
In addition to the shoes, the Bandit x Asics collab will include matching running apparel and accessories.
Readers who are interested will be able to cop the Bandit x Asics Novablast 5 collab at Banditrunning.com and at Bandit’s NYC and LA stores for $150.
