Name: Nike Air Max 95 “Reverse Gradient”
Colorway: Anthracite/Neon Yellow/Pearl Grey
SKU: HM4738-001
MSRP: $190 USD
Release Date: April 9 (MoMA) and April 10 (SNKRS Pass)
Where to Buy: Nike

Nike is ramping up its celebration of the Air Max 95’s 30th anniversary this month with a hefty lineup of launches, including a new “Reverse Gradient” pair that just hit shelves this morning.

Releasing via MoMA, this “Reverse Gradient” colorway flips the gradient of the OG “Neon” design — another look that is set to launch this month — offering a light gray to black transition from the mudguard to collar. It also features a shaggier suede across its upper while sporting the typical reflective detailing too. This particular offering is based on a sketch by designer Sergio Lozano, one that he made before the shoe’s retail debut in 1994, which has never been produced.

MoMA was the exclusive storefront to drop this “Reverse Gradient” colorway of the Nike Air Max 95 today. However, it is rumored that those in New York City will be offered a second chance to cop tomorrow, April 10, via Nike’s SNKRS Pass system. Stay tuned for updates as, based on early reports, it is unlikely to see a wider launch at a later date.
