Rigorer found international momentum with the introduction of Austin Reaves as a signature shoe recipient with the Rigorer AR1 in 2023. They continued to build upon this with the introduction of his second signature shoe — the Rigorer AR2 — at the end of last year. Now, the Chinese brand is looking to carry over this success to a new line led by Brandin Podziemski. The Golden State Warriors guard quickly became a key rotational player for the team and has averaged just under 12 points per game in his second season in the league.
After teasing it throughout the season, Podziemski and Rigorer have just officially unveiled the Rigorer BP1. The new model has been Podziemski’s shoe of choice this season, appearing in various different colorways. Dropping initially are two looks — colorways named “1962” and “Kaleidoscope.” Both come equipped with energy return maximizing Forefoot Showtime Foam, a Flywire mesh upper and a TPU plate inspired by the Golden Gate Bridge. Its “1962” look pays homage to the year that the Golden State Warriors, then the San Francisco Warriors, moved from Philadelphia. The franchise’s blue and gold accent the otherwise white rendition of the shoe. As for the “Kaleidoscope” version of the model, it arrives in a vibrant pink with silver detailing.
For those interested in shopping Brandin Podziemski’s Rigorer BP1, both the “1962” and “Kaleidoscope” colorways are set to drop on April 12 via Rigorer and KICKS CREW at a starting price of $90 USD.
