Hot Wheels is heading back in time for San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with a special release celebrating the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future. The exclusive 1:64 scale collector set recreates the iconic Twin Pines Mall scene and features, for the first time ever, a die-cast version of Doc Brown’s GMC Value Van alongside an updated Time Machine with exclusive deco.
Presented in a fold-out, movie-inspired diorama package with an interactive outer box, the set allows fans to slide the display ramp out just like the famous temporal displacement test from the 1985 film. The packaging features authentic movie graphics and Real Riders wheels on both vehicles for added realism.
Priced at $32 USD and limited to two per customer, the Hot Wheels Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Time Machine Set launches July 24, 2025, during SDCC.
