Is Isaiah Rashad Rolling Out an It’s Been Awful Series?
Album-mode Zay is on fire… Isaiah Rashad isn’t wasting any time with the rollout of the It’s Been Awful project. Every week, he has given us some semblance of the project, from the lead single “SAME SH!T” two weeks back, to last week’s cover art, tracklist, and feature slate reveal, and now this week is no exception to the rule. The rapper took to his Instagram to share another visual offering created in collaboration with Omar Jones, who has been overseeing the direction of all of the project’s video content. This one isn’t a trailer or a music video, however. It’s actually a bit unclear what this one is. Spanning just about a minute-and-a-half, the clip Jones and Rashad are referring to as “EPISODE 1: HAPPY HOUR” is shot outside the same airstream Rashad’s been using for most of the rollout visuals and features a brief cameo from ScHoolboy Q, as well as a snippet of a new track.
Sophia Stel Makes a Statement on Her First A24 Music Track: “B*tches Talk Sh*t”
Earlier this year, emerging alternative-pop-indie-electronic artist Sophia Stel signed as the second official musician to A24‘s A24 Music. This week, she shared her first single released by way of the production company’s in-house record label, named after a saying we’ve all uttered at least once or twice. Dubbed “B*tches Talk Sh*t,” the self-written and self-produced cut is refreshingly relatable and comes accompanied by a self-shot video.

ICEMAN Is Dropping May 15
All has been revealed. About 24 hours after constructing the ice pyramid extravaganza, streamer Kishka joined the masses in an attempt to unearth the release date for the album. Fans took to all methods of melting, with Kishka striking gold – in the form of a waterproof blue bag on the bottom of the structure – in his efforts. All captured on livestream, Adin Ross then left a comment in Kishka’s chat, inviting him to pull up to Drake’s estate to open the bag. Of course, when you’re summoned to Drizzy’s estate, you go, so Kishka, within ten minutes of the message, was at the rapper’s abode for the anticipated unboxing. He was privy to a first look at the ICEMAN zine before revealing the May 15 release date. Kishka also walked home with a wad of cash as Drake peeped in from the window.
Is Show Me The Body Gearing Up for Album Mode?
“’Dance In The USA’ is about how we implore style to survive in this reality,” said Show Me The Body lead singer Julian Cashwan Pratt of the group’s new track, “Dance In The USA,” which features production from the unlikely duo of Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume. “It’s how we embrace the struggle of ourselves, our families, and those around us. It’s the dance that we all do – how we hustle, the good and the bad things we do – just to get through it.” With the new single out now and a slate of tour dates coming up, the group’s fourth studio album still remains unannounced … but we have a feeling some details are coming soon.
Action Bronson Announces New Album – First with AI Art, Then With Self-Painted Artwork
Action Bronson
“BRAND NEW MUSIC *PLANET FROG* BY BAKLAVA COMING SO SOON. DON’T WORRY THERE IS A PAINTING ALSO. HOW THE HELL ELSE WOULD I GET THE FROG TO DO WHAT I WANT. DON’T YOU WORRY ABOUT MY METHODS OF ARTISTIC EXPRESSION JUST UNDERSTAND YOU ARE ABOUT TO GET A MUSICAL CATHEDRAL,” wrote Action Bronson in an Instagram caption, announcing his imminent new studio record with a new AI-created artwork. Needless to say, Mr. Baklava’s Instagram comments revved up right away, app users ripping the music-focused Renaissance Man for relying on artificial intelligence for the cover art – especially when he has such a colorful history of self-painted album artwork. Bam Bam returned with an original painting as the updated PLANET FROG cover art, adding “DID ALLEN IVERSON DO THIS OR WAS IT BAKLAVA. EVERYTHING MADE BY MY HAND AND I MEAN EVERYTHING. *PLANET FROG* A NEW MUSICAL EXPLOSION PRESENTED BY ME. OTHER WORLDS HAVE BEEN SUMMONED. COMING SOON.”
