Seiko has expanded its celebrated Presage collection with the “Silver Bullet” Cocktail Time GMT, a timepiece that draws creative inspiration from the sophisticated mixology culture of Tokyo’s world-renowned Star Bar in Ginza. This model draws aesthetic and thematic cues from its namesake cocktail – a sharp, elegant blend of gin, kümmel, and lemon juice – and aims to capture the artistry of Japanese cocktail bars.
The watch is defined by a lustrous, deep-pressed dial pattern designed to evoke the crystalline view through a cocktail glass. Thoughtful design details further lean into the bar-inspired theme: the blue GMT hand mirrors the slender stem of a cocktail glass, while the gold-tone second hand is a nod to a traditional swizzle-stick stirrer. Legibility is enhanced by cursive blue Arabic numerals and sharp Dauphine-style hands, which are complemented by a date display at the 3 o’clock position. Encased in stainless steel and finished with a classic brown leather strap, the watch balances a dressy, sophisticated presence with the utility of dual time zone tracking.
Powered by a precise mechanical movement, the Presage “Silver Bullet” reinforces Seiko’s commitment to distinctly Japanese design and mechanical reliability. Priced at £520 GBP (approx. $ 650 USD), the timepiece is now available for pre-order through the Seiko Boutique website, with deliveries beginning in June.
