ASICS Sportstyle has officially unveiled the GEL-CUMULUS 16 by Griff sneaker. Arriving as a true creative partnership with the singer-songwriter, the collaboration seamlessly merges the brand’s deep performance heritage with artistic expression to explore the emotional connection between music, movement, and daily wellbeing.

Reimagined entirely through Griff’s distinct creative lens, the archival running silhouette is presented in a monochromatic black colorway. The design stands out due to its distinctive ribbon lacing system, which draws directly from ballet aesthetics to reflect parallel themes of strength, grace, and discipline shared by sports and musical performance. Additionally, the shoe references Griff’s personal styling preference of pairing socks with loafers, integrating a unique layered upper construction that expertly balances soft technical knits with rigid structural overlays.

Beneath the expressive design details, the lifestyle sneaker maintains its trusted performance foundation. The model retains ASICS’ signature cushioning and comfort technology to ensure all-day wearability and reliable impact protection across city surfaces. Developed over an intense 18-month design period that initially began in December 2024, the intimate project arrives as a functional extension of everyday uniform styling.

The ASICS GEL-CUMULUS 16 by Griff is available through official ASICS channels and select global retailers.
