An official BLACKPINK Tamagotchi is set to drop, sporting a light pink design and featuring the K-pop girl group’s icon logo
Pre-sales launch begins on June 29, 2026, via the LINE FRIENDS’ gift store for approx. $60 USD
Global K-pop sensation BLACKPINK has officially partnered with the legendary virtual pet brand Tamagotchi to release the highly anticipated BLACKPINK Original Tamagotchi. Merging Y2K nostalgia with contemporary fandom culture, this collaboration allows fans to interact with a unique digital collectible that celebrates the group’s worldwide influence.
The design encapsulates the group’s signature style, blending classic ’90s pixel art with modern fashion aesthetics under the core theme of “BLACK, PINK and PIXEL.” It features a striking pink outer shell prominently displaying the iconic BLACKPINK logo, paired with a charming display screen and three classic white interaction buttons below it.
The limited-edition device will make its debut in Japan with a pre-sale launch on June 29, 2026, at 2 p.m. JST through the LINE FRIENDS SQUARE LINE Gift store. The virtual pet will retail for ¥9,500 yen (approx. $60 USD).
