Ye has revealed four new pastel colorways of the independent Yeezy 800 silhouette
The retro running design combines ballistic mesh nubuck overlays and textured synthetic panels
The model is expected to release during Fall/Winter 2026 via Yeezy
YEEZY founder Ye has revealed new pastel iterations of the upcoming YEEZY 800 silhouette. The updated previe, which the artist posted to his Instagram Stories, expands upon the initial all-black edition of the independent runner, introducing a vibrant shift from the brand’s traditional muted earth tones.
The Yeezy 800 leans into a retro running shape, featuring a complex layered construction across the upper. Ballistic mesh forms the tongue, while textured panels reinforce the toe and heel sections. Nubuck-like overlays frame the eyestays and forefoot, complemented by layers of loose, gauze-style mesh that give the upper a raw, unpolished texture that continues onto portions of the midsole.
Marking a return to the numbered naming format used throughout Ye’s classic releases, the model signals a new era of independent production for the brand. Following reports of a retail partnership with JD Sports, the silhouette could become one of the first post-adidas Yeezy footwear releases to receive wider mainstream distribution.
The Yeezy 800 is expected to launch during Fall/Winter 2026 through the Yeezy website and select retailers.
