New Balance has officially unveiled the New Balance 983 “Yellow/Red”, bringing a vibrant color treatment to the retro-inspired running silhouette. The multi-layered pair leans into early-2000s performance aesthetics with exposed cushioning elements and high-visibility paneling.

The upper is constructed with an olive mesh base layered beneath pale yellow and lime structural overlays. Grey accents land on the laces, inner lining, and reflective “N” logos, balancing the brighter tones across the shoe’s technical upper. Additional reflective silver-white detailing extends onto the heel counters for enhanced low-light visibility.

Underfoot, red accents highlight the heel and frame the exposed ABZORB SBS cushioning pods embedded within the sole unit. A sculpted yellow dual-density midsole provides structural support, resting atop a dark grey rubber outsole detailed with red tread segments.

The New Balance 983 “Yellow/Red” will release on October 1, 2026, for $160 USD via NewBalance.com and select retailers.
