Summary

  • The pair first collaborated on England’s 2010 World Cup kits.
  • The collection is slated for a Spring 2026 release.

Born in Buenos Aires, designer Aitor Throup has become an unstoppable force in the Latin fashion scene. The 44-year-old creative rose to fame by challenging the standards of dystopian menswear alongside Stone Island, Nike, and G-Star RAW. Throup has grabbed our attention with his latest partnership, rejoining Umbro after 14 years for a third collaborative collection.

The designer’s debut Umbro collection made noise with England’s 2010 World Cup kits — part of the UK brand’s previous “Tailored by Umbro” line. The duo’s last collaboration in 2011 transformed Umbro’s signature football gear into otherworldly designs at the hands of Throup.

Their rekindled union is confirmed for a Spring 2026 release, which will be launched alongside Italian retailer Slam Jam.

Take a look at the teaser above, and stay tuned for more information on Umbro x Aitor Throup coming soon.
