Last year, Arc’teryx partnered with Austria’s largest ski manufacturer, Atomic, to release the Grottoflage Maverick 115 CTI – a ski engineered for adventurous freeride performance and elevated with a custom Grottoflage graphic.
Now, the pair has teamed up again to introduce two new freeride skis: the Maverick 105 CTI Arc’teryx Edition and the Maven 103 CTI Arc’teryx Edition. The drop features a fresh iteration of the Grottoflage graphic and a full capsule of skiwear sporting the same custom print.
As with last year’s Maverick 115 CTI, the Maverick 105 CTI was developed in close collaboration with Craig Murray – a freeride skier known for his fluid, creative style in big-mountain terrain – to ensure all-mountain performance and off-piste versatility. The Maven 103 CTI was crafted with big-mountain skier Tonje Kvivik, known for her aggressive yet graceful style, resulting in a women’s all-conditions ski defined by strength and precision.
Extending the Grottoflage pattern from skis to gear, the collaboration also includes Four Pro HD Arc’teryx Edition goggles, a Revent GT AMID Arc’teryx Edition helmet, Backland FR SQS Arc’teryx Edition poles, and the Arc’teryx Grotto Sabrea and Sentinel kits – all crafted in Austria.
“This collaboration is a match made in heaven, with a perfect blend of creativity, performance, and expression,” says Tonje Kvivik.
The equipment is available on Atomic’s website, and the apparel is available on Arc’teryx’s website and in select stores.
