Edison Chen’s CLOT is continuing its ongoing partnership with adidas, this time putting a seasonal spin on the classic adidas Mundial. As soccer silhouettes remain a dominant force in the footwear market, the multihyphenate designer has completely reworked the pitch-ready model, infusing it with the summery, espadrille-inspired construction that has become a signature motif of the duo’s recent collaborative output.
As per official images, the model trades the silhouette’s traditional rubber cupsole for a woven espadrille sole unit, bringing a refined, dressier edge to the athletic staple. Up top, the shoe features a creamy black leather upper layered with additional woven details wrapping the Three Stripes and heel counters.
Further elevating the design, the toe box’s usual stitched pattern has been replaced with the CLOT logo repeated three times. Gilded branding accents add a touch of luxury throughout, while a traditional folded tongue bearing “CLOT MUNDIAL” text ensures the sneaker remains true to its heritage football roots.
