JW Anderson and Yeoman Basketmaker Eddie Glew have officially unveiled the Blanket Basket, Log Basket, and Laundry Basket for the Fall/Winter 2026 collection. Presented exclusively for Salone del Mobile 2026, the partnership highlights heritage craftsmanship and the meticulous art of traditional willow weaving.

Crafted in England by the Staffordshire-based sculptor, the collaborative lineup features a range of functional homeware items. Each piece is constructed entirely by hand using traditional techniques passed down through multiple generations. Utilizing the finest British willow, the overarching designs draw direct structural and detailed inspiration from medieval storage chests.

To elevate the organic weave, the baskets are finished with chocolate brown vegetable-tanned leather developed alongside a London-based craftsperson. The premium leather straps and delicate floral motifs are carefully secured using precision-engineered gunmetal hardware. To celebrate the presentation during Salone del Mobile, Glew will host a live demonstration at the JW Anderson Milan flagship. Using only his hands, a shave horse, and a draw knife, the sculptor will carve traditional wooden flowers from a single piece of wood. These pieces extend from a Romany tradition of crafting flowers from hedgerow with a pocketknife, a skill Glew originally learned from his late father.

Guests attending the live activation will receive one of the unique handcrafted flowers, presented with protective packaging and an informational postcard. Glew, who previously earned a full scholarship to study under expert basketmaker Sally Goymer, continues to pass these dedicated skills on to the next generation of willow weavers.
