Stone Island Brings Dave’s Archive to New York City

For Dave’s The Boy Who Played The Harp Tour, Stone Island pulled out all the stops.

Not only did Stone Island create a one-of-one modular wardrobe for the UK rapper’s anticipated run of shows, but the Italian imprint is committed to bringing the custom clothing down to the rest of the community. A supporter of the label since his early days, Dave has acquired a hefty personal archive of Stone Island pieces – and now they’re all on display in New York City in commemoration of his final tour stop in Brooklyn.

Billed as Stone Island Selected Works: Archival Pieces From The Collection Of Dave 2016 – 2026, the exhibition debuted in London when the tour kicked off, so it’s only right the second and final stop coincides with the close-out of the tour.

Co-curated by both Dave himself and Stone Island archivist Archie Mahe, the rare look into the rapper’s closet is set up at Stone Island’s SoHo storefront, and spotlights both the custom on-stage The Boy Who Played The Harp Tour apparel, alongside a selection of pieces lifted from Dave’s expansive archive displayed in a freestanding Plexiglass structure.

Slide to the Stone Island SoHo store through Sunday, May 3rd, to check it out.
