CARNIVAL hosts Tokyo’s WEEKEND SEQUEL for its first Thailand pop-up at CARNIVAL ONE BANGKOK.
Features collaborative T-shirts combining CARNIVAL, WEEKEND SEQUEL, and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design branding.
Runs August 29–30, 2026, at CARNIVAL ONE BANGKOK.
Leading Thai streetwear boutique CARNIVAL is bringing Harajuku-based retail concept WEEKEND SEQUEL to Thailand for the very first time through an exclusive two-day pop-up event. Founded by Yasunari Miyazaki, WEEKEND SEQUEL is a Tokyo-based project famous for its distinct rhythm — opening its physical Harajuku doors strictly on weekends to create a fleeting gathering place for product releases, street culture and community. The project is also closely associated with Hiroshi Fujiwara, founder of fragment design, whose creative presence and iconic lightning bolt insignia have become defining elements of the WEEKEND SEQUEL identity.
To mark this cross-cultural connection between Tokyo and Bangkok, the collaboration debuts a special event-exclusive T-shirt collection that fuses the visual identities of CARNIVAL, WEEKEND SEQUEL, and fragment design. Designed to introduce the ephemeral, in-person spirit of Harajuku’s weekend culture to Southeast Asia, the CARNIVAL x WEEKEND SEQUEL pop-up will run on August 29 – 30, 2026. The experience and limited graphic tees will be hosted at the CARNIVAL ONE BANGKOK flagship store, located in The Storeys at One Bangkok.
