Ryan Murphy Assembles Franchise Legends for ‘American Horror Story’ Season 13

FX has released the official trailer for American Horror Story Season 13 featuring returning fan-favorite cast members

Jessica Lange Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters return to reprise multiple legacy roles across the franchise’s history

The all-star anthology season premieres on FX and Hulu on September 24, 2026

FX and Hulu have officially unveiled the trailer for American Horror Story: 13. The upcoming installment of Ryan Murphy‘s horror anthology series marks the return of core franchise icons including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters.

The 13th season features returning cast members stepping back into multiple legacy roles across the show’s history. Lange reprises four of her former characters, while Peters plays five different roles and Paulson portrays six—at times interacting with themselves within the same scenes. Additional returning stars include Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, and Jamie Brewer as Adelaide Langdon.

The all-star ensemble also introduces new additions to the franchise, including Love Story star Paul Anthony Kelly, filmmaker John Waters, Mean Girls star Avantika Vandanapu, Joey Pollari, and model Alex Consani. Debuting in 2011, the Emmy Award-winning anthology series continues its tradition of blending murderous monsters with interconnected character arcs.

American Horror Story Season 13 officially premieres September 24, 2026, on FX and Hulu.
