adidas and contemporary artist Tyrrell Winston have officially released the Tyrrell Winston x adidas Climacool 4D. The collaborative footwear project reinterprets the 3D-printed running model through a heritage football lens, serving as a core component of Winston’s “The Athlete” collection.
Following his March 2026 Lightblaze POD release, Winston gives the technical silhouette a structural overhaul by adding a fold-over tongue inspired by classic soccer boots. The shoe’s primary upper and signature 3D-printed lattice midsole are finished in a bone-toned off-white, offering a neutral foundation for vibrant Collegiate Red accents across the Three Stripes branding, laces, and tongue.
The design continues Winston’s practice of bridging sports culture with contemporary art. Conceptually, “The Athlete” collection examines the unglamorous aspects of sports, focusing on personal growth, overcoming setbacks, and the discipline required to endure.
The Tyrrell Winston x adidas Climacool 4D officially released on September 9, 2026, for $180 USD through adidas and select retailers.
