Milan’s Tortona Fashion District is setting up to become the center of gravity for the next wave of global street culture and contemporary design.
For its September 2026 takeover during Milan Fashion Week, WHITE Milano is rolling out a massive expansion that scales up its exhibitor count by 24%. The event is expanding its footprint with two brand-new spaces—T35 and T31—bringing together 450 carefully curated brands and doubling its global buyer network. The trade event is slated to be a full-on cultural hub designed to erase the lines separating high-end fashion, street culture, design, and art.
Fashion fans and activewear purveyors are getting a dedicated space to call their own inside T54. Dubbed BOX, this new urban hub focuses entirely on denim, activewear, and subculture-driven streetwear. It’s complemented by More, an area curated for lifestyle and beauty, as well as WNLAB, a dedicated space for workshops and talks breaking down contemporary trends. The focal point of the space is Sexdreams, a street-art-meets-fashion installation by Milanese artist Gioele Corradengo that brings raw urban energy directly into the venue. There are also special activations, exclusive drops, and pop-ups that will spill out along Via Tortona to transform the entire neighborhood.
Beyond the local street culture, the showcase functions as a launchpad for global underground talent and international powerhouses. Guest designer Alessandro Enriquez brings his signature colorful, pop-inspired lifestyle vision to the event, while T27 Luce features Korean label Kimhēkim as its special guest. International capsules are popping up across all venues, highlighting talent backed by global fashion platforms from India (FDCI), Colombia (The Colombia Edit by Makeno), Spain (ICEX), Armenia, and Brazil. T35 also brings back On the Beach, a specialized resortwear hub curated alongside agency Allumeuse, featuring Colombian brand Donde Esteban alongside heavy-hitting premium labels.
To keep the momentum going once the exhibition floors close, WHITE is turning the entire district into an all-day social destination. The afternoon-to-night schedule packed with music, live experiences, and pop-ups gives buyers, designers, and creatives a place to network and connect outside of formal business hours. Backed by strategic partnerships with major industry players like Bologna Fiere/Cosmoprof and SIMEST to support independent brands globally, this edition is proving that Milan’s creative ecosystem is evolving into something far more dynamic, accessible, and connected.
